An Evening of Wine & Design

On Thursday April 28, Fun House will be hosting an event for the Newcomers & Neighbors of the Mendhams. We are honored to announce that Paul Romano, Vice President of Quadrille Fabrics, will be coming to speak about current design trends. Quadrille Fabrics is the hottest fabric brand around; it has either been on every cover or featured in every design magazine over the past two years. Unfortuanately, tickets are sold out, but stay tuned to hear about how this exciting night will go and to see pictures from the event!

Lilly Pulitzer

As we count down the days until summer, we also anticipate our summer arrival of a variety of the brand new Lilly Pultizer items coming to Fun House, as seen in House Beautiful Magazine March 2011 Issue. Everything is gorgeous; decked out with bright summery colors. The Lilly Pulitzer furniture is due to arrive sometime this summer and we simply cannot wait! We expect the shipments to start arriving in June, but we will keep everyone posted. We are planning a Lilly Cocktail Party at the store to celebrate once everything starts arriving. So get your best Lilly ready to wear and start finding a place in your home for these spectacular pieces!

Bucks County Designer Home & Garden

Beginning at the end of this month, we will be providing the accessories for the Affordable Closets Plus venue at the Bucks County Designer House & Garden Event. 2011 SHEF Chili Cook-Off

     On Saturday April 9th we decorated the VIP Room for the 2011 Shef Chili Cook-Off in Bernardsville. This was the eighth-annual chili cook-off fundraiser held by The Somerset Hills Education Foundation. The event was held at Upton Pyne, a beautiful private estate on the Bernardsville Mountain. The event has raised between $80,000-$100,000 each year, which has helped schools pay for technology, classroom projects, and other programs. 

     We brought lots of pieces over from our store to decorate the VIP Room. We brought  chairs, tables, gorgeous red leather pillows, and many more spectacular accessories. Each painting was custom made for the event. Not only was the fundraiser for a wonderful cause, but we had a great time participating and we were glad to be able to lend our expertise.

Welcome to Fun House Furnishings & Design Blog! We are an interior design studio and retail home furnishings store located in Mendham, New Jersey. Our store opened in October of 2010, and since then, we have been very busy. We offer a chic mix of furniture and accessories, including one-of-a-kind pieces, hand-picked antiques, art, lamps, rugs, bedding, gift and vintage finds.
